So Hannah, the five year old daughter, is actually not Jody's daughter, but actually Mia's daughter. This totally makes sense now. Jody is 50, so she had Hannah when she was 45... I know it's possible but I kind of believe this rumor. Mia is 26 and I guess Jody did not want to embarrass her family so she raised Hannah as her own (maybe that's why we don't see them air a lot?)

I would also point out that "not embarrassing the family" is only one reason this may have happened. Mia is 26 and clearly not ready for kids, she certainly wouldn't have been ready to be a mom 5 years ago. Maybe they decided it was for the best that Jody raise her and Mia not.

From how I see Mia is the Queen Bee of everything. Only she ain't got the looks to back it up. So at school she would be a bully and she is ritch!
When a girl of Mia's caliber would get nocked up, ow yeah! Th baby's father would come straight up in the picture and Mia would change her tune to;
Independent you buisness woman en single mother. She would terrorizzzzzze the creditcard bill and little Hannah would be come a Fashion item / little me.
Jody would be mad as hell! But Mia is a girl who does things her own way!
Come now. She's probably slept with so many people that she wouldn't be able to identify the father in order to seek child support from him. Furthermore, she's probably richer than the father would be anyway, so I don't think she'd have gotten much. And last of all, Mia is a party girl. Why would she want to stay home and take care of a baby when she could be out partying? If it is her child, she probably left it alone at home to go out partying, which is what would have prompted Jody to take care of the baby and call it her own, lest child protection services take the kid away.

Amanda was a huge party girl with kids so I actually doubt that Mia would give Jody her kid. Jody bends and folds to whatever Mia says. Also Jody's husband is like 15 years younger than her. If Hannah was born when she was 45 he was only 30. He might have wanted a child. Just like Ronnie and her daughters, she is quite a bit older than her husband.
