'On Hold'

The bars, high end restaurants and tanning salons of Vancouver will be a little quieter this year as The Real Housewives of Vancouver has been put “on hold” by Slice TV.

Barbara Williams, senior vice-president of content for Shaw Media — Slice’s parent company — delivered the news during Shaw’s annual Upfront presentation.

Williams suggested that the show may return at a future date with a different cast or, perhaps, in a different Canadian city. But they confirmed that the show, as it appeared in the two previous seasons, would not be returning for a third season.

something wicked this way comes . . . .

May the hiatus be permanent.

reply

NOOO!!!! Why couldn't this have happened to OC or Miami instead?

The only ones I'll miss is Jody/Mia along with Christina & Reiko from the previous season.

reply

Thank God....no more of those dreadful Faux Canadians...

Its kinda sad, it could have been such a great show. But whoever decided to allow all the bullying and promote it should have been fired. They all should have for allowing any of it to air.

reply

You're correct, it promoted bullying and I hated Jody. Every week it was the same thing, Jody verbally harassing Mary every two seconds.

reply

Yes I'd say Jody singlehandedly killed the show.

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.
