so what happens to the guy at the end?

is he stabbed to death ?

reply

No. He was not stabbed to death there in the woods (it was a so-called "Scare Tactic")
but he disappeared immediately after that night and was presumably killed elsewhere.

reply

The way I see it is that they show somebody at the end is edititing out the footage where they start stabbing the guy. His buddy with the wife and kid isn't going to say anything because they probably threatened his family if he spilled the beans.

reply

I believe he was stabbed to death right then and there. That was part of the ritual when the society met, to kill the bull. Whether or not the bull was symbolic I don't know for sure. But, my thoughts are that at other meetings the same thing was done to people trying to expose them. I believe this because of the bull mask which seemed to be at the ready. I also believe his friend was spared because he had a wife and child. Not so easily explained away when gone missing. Also they needed a credible witness to debunk the conspiracy theory. Who better than a friend that was there and has a stable family life?

I thought this was a frightening movie. It makes you think hard. It just might be true. After all, money does rule the world doesn't it?

reply

I think they killed him there and then too. They spared the other one so they could show the film they wanted the public to see. In an earlier scene they got him to toe the line by subtly threatening his family.

reply

Think I stand corrected. Frig, I feel like a sheep - precisely the
type of sheep that the "Powers That Be" herd and fool, no less.

reply

we are all sheep waiting to be butchered, because we never stand together to fight this evil, i for example will be butchered next month possibly.

reply

obviously. He's shown getting stabbed at, you can't seriously think they were just emulating stabbing motions right?

then the part where he was stabbed is immediately being shown as edited in the next scene in a room.

The whole point is the secret cult organization is real and that they're not afraid to sort of tempt conspiracy theorists because they DO want to draw people in for their rituals.

she fell through a hole, and was never seen again

reply

Yeah, he was. The entire ending is meant to be a "fake" ending by the Illuminati-expy to draw in more conspiracy theorists (to sacrifice) and to protect their legal standing. The fact Aaron basically vanished into thin air is kinda proof.
