I am glad they didn't go by the rest of the old movies. It was cute! And nothing happen among the characters that I thought would. Though I found myself rooting for Jo and Teddy. Was disappointed in that situation but with that said the acting was good but I felt the movie was a bit rushed. I bet it would have made a better mini series. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

I have seen versions including the original of Little Women and I enjoyed it. If lifetime decided to expand this movie into a ongoing series fans would absolutely watch the 21 century version alcotts classic characters.
shareEveryone was expecting Jo and Teddy to get together but I like that is went against our expectations. The two of them were best friends since they were children, Amy saw him as a friend, and valued their friendship above all. I didn't like the Amy and Teddy flirtation, it was good for the story but it was just weird. The Editor was the perfect guy for Jo, he was new, outside of her family circle, they share the same love of literature and really connected.
