Sequel?

Are there any rumors or hints at a sequel?

Last I heard, they were more interested in possibly returning to the original franchise and making Devil May Cry 5, instead of a sequel to the reboot.

From what I hear, the reboot isn't selling quite as well as Capcom had hoped, and some key team-members who made the original series want to return to it instead of working on the rebooted series. (Can't say I blame them. The reboot is fun, but unnecessary, and the original series still had steam left and stories to tell.)

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?

I'm probably in the minority but, despite being a fan of the original series, I really enjoyed the reboot. The gameplay was fun and I've replayed it multiple times. I was bitching about the new design before it came out like all the other fanboy whiners but I quickly got over it when I played it. I figured this is YOUNG Dante hasn't matured yet into OUR adult Dante. People also complained that it didn't fit in with the franchise and maybe it didn't but it's a REBOOT not a continuation...that's what Devil May Cry 5 is for. They were probably just experimenting and seeing where the game would go, which I guess wasn't far since fanboys just couldn't get over it. I was hoping for a sequel but I guess not..."never in a million years".

I find this Dante rather cute, too.
