Wasn't as bad as people were carrying on about. jeez.

I wonder if i hadn't seen the original a million times, would i have had the emotional feelings for this one that i had the first time i saw the original.

and the same thing bothered me in this one as in the original...the fawning over Shelby. too much.

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...

I agree. It's not that bad. I thought Queen Latifah did an excellent job. I thought few of the actors were weak but not enough to where it altered the overall portrayal.

I think many of these posts have to do with the choice to do the remake point blank period.
