Am I the only one who liked this movie?

It was incredibly cheesy and ridiculous at times but I found it enjoyable

Just watched it.

I pretty much agree. It was decent. Nothing special.

Actually, it's not normally the kind of thing I'd watch, but I checked it out because I saw Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close a few days ago and the kid playing Oskar was ridiculously good, so I wanted to see what else he did. I'm not sure if it was just a mediocre director who didn't know how to get what he wanted from his actors or an uninspired script that generated equally uninspired performances, but unfortunately his performance was a far cry from what he did 2 years earlier. A lot of the other cast didn't fare much better, so in a way he fit right in - though I have to admit, he did seem to get really into it in some of the more intense scenes during the last 30 minutes. Looks like he's best suited for intense dramatic roles rather than casual everyday performances at this point.

I would think so. Even my kids thought it was ridiculous. Robonauts indeed!!!

I really enjoyed it ... good, clean family entertainment! Reminded me of an old Disney movie. It wasn't meant to be "spot on" every step of the way ... it was meant to just bring a smile and occasional laugh. Enjoy it for what it is, folks (and I'm glad to see "A-list" actors taking part ... Lucas, Glover, Mulroney, Sorvino ... even if it was "just a paycheck", tho I suspect NOT)!

I liked it too! I've got a lot of friends at Marshall Space Flight Center, and lived a block from Neil Armstrong in 1969, so I've kind of got space in my blood.
