So many questions!

Ok, I'm usually able to follow along with subtle movies, but this one left me confuzzled. Do we ever figure out who are the two kids Niamh keeps seeing outside her window? Did she mesmerize the little girls at the doll party? Did I blink and miss the implications that she suffered horrific physical/sexual abuse at her parents' hands?

I suppose a smaller-caliber gun would have to fire baby teeth.

The two Kids Neve sees are just people she senses are being abused like she was. As for the party, yes, I think that was Neve first realizing that she can mesmerize other people.

Weren't those the 2 kids who were being abused by their mother? The ones she saved and killed the mom of?

Hell's Teeth (possible spoilers)!

It was the message board comments that helped me decide to give this movie a go.

With any supernatural movie, you have to suspend belief but this one asks a little too much of the viewer. Are we supposed to believe that authorities of any nation hand over highly traumatised children to the first person that asks? As for the therapist trying to bond with Niamh by sharing a story about the time she ate caviar for a very important dinner to be held by her parents! Oh really darling, just too much. What was the scene with the teacher strolling into the therapy session? The very foster parent that suspects abuse offers to get into bed with Niamh. Then strips the poor girl naked for a much overdue bath. Possibly the worst teacher ever!! These points were so distracting I couldn't even enjoy the supernatural elements. I can't say it was a terrible movie but it added nothing new or surprising to the genre ... What could have been interesting twists were wasted. On a good note... The child actress was good.

Oh well! Rant over
