I know this is the internet and everything has to be taken with a grain of salt or imo a pound of salt on the web LOL! Seriously tho I know some will think I am a liar or such. But this is my story and do me its true I do not care what others think if you believe me fine you have some fun trivia for those who don't no worries.

Anyway I a German born and raised in Stuttgart and moved here to attended University. I come from a medical family (well my mom's side of the family, my dad's side are mainly current, reserve or former military, LE and for my US part of the family in the gun industry. I met a guy who is now my husband in medical school and he has nearly and identical kind of family, guess its one reason why we match up so good. He is 3rd gen Japanese American with a 7 gen strong US but his Japan side of the family go back a thousand years or more as his cousin did a family tree. Anyway we are both recently out of residency MD's now starting school for our respective specialties as I want to expand higher than just internal medicine. My goal is Surgery.

I also have US born family tho only 5 gens or so strong most of my family are in Germany. But like I said my hubby's family is just like mine dad's side is military and law enforcement and mom's side are all academics Dr's , lawyers, Scientists etc. So we go along fine as fortunately our families are not prejudice etc. Which sad to say the US is while shrinking is still rife with it. Color this, Race that so outdated notions. Anyway he also has Korean side to his family as he has a Korean stepmother, brother and sister. And his brother married on of HA JI Won's sisters. So yes she is my sister N law. And why I can fluently speak Korean. Before that I knew German, English (minored in it) and Japanese.

So like all SK actors Ha Ji Won is NOT her real name its a stage name a funny one too as Ji is a guy's name. And like I said the web is full of liars and posers like sites who claim to know her real name. The most popular ones that's online like on sites like Asian stars or Wikipedia the site of misinformation etc are all 100% wrong again the most numerous "real" they gave her is Yeon Hae Rim or Yoon Ha Rim and Yoon Hae Rim. Nope sorry all are bogus. Also she like the rest of our family are very very private. She hardly gives interviews,she has no official site. So all those Facebook, Twitter or whatever site claiming to be her are all fake. Its NOT her at all.

As she can hardly speak any English and hates social media sites. She is very protective of the family. In fact the reason why she is still single at near 38 is Korean culture similar to Japanese respect their elders literally she sadly may never a marry as she looks like the one who has chosen to take care of the family mainly her parents. Sorry their is more to it and even I don't fully understand it you have to be of that culture to fully understand what it is to be the one who ultimately takes care of the parents for life etc. But I'm learning everyday thru my husband and even my sis aka "Ha Ji Won" herself ;)

Again not lying as before she said so I never even knew about Korean films hence Ive never heard of her or seen her work. And its a fact besides a very small niche of western fans NO ONE outside of South Korea knows how she is as she refuses to act outside of Korea. As she does not like the US that much. Opps I should stop now as don't want to say anything personal or something that may offend her etc. So again I have nothing to gain by saying I'm related to a person that less than .05 of percent outside of Korea know.

Pardon the rant. Now about the film my only critic is the trivia section where some guy says they had to learn Pyongyang accents that is a pure lie. Its NOT an accent they just talk very sternly, militaristic and very egotistical and its only in the capital cites and used by people in the spotlight like these pingpong players, party members, military and police types. If you go to the villages etc You do NOT hear people talking that way.

And realistically this was in real life a publicity stunt pulled off by the North to make themselves look good. All the while people are are starving, arrested for sometimes nothing and beaten or executed. Now with the kid running everything who is a documented psychopath its a lot worst. They have fired on south Korea countless times, fired nuclear missiles into the sea as a show off force, fired on ships or sunk ships by gunfire.

And in the past have kidnapped people from Japan and past I mean only back in the 80's. And the firing on South Korea just a year or 2 ago. The arrogance of that country is leading to war. Most people think Russia or China has the largest Army but no NK does. But it has very outdated tanks and equipment and worst of all NO food well the food which the US sends them (which is totally ridicules) for civilians goes to the army. Yet the US does nothing.

So its a good film but the true story is very different than the film. North Korea according to refugees who managed to escape have said so and Ive personally talked to a few and its scary there very scary. ISIS or the Taliban are cowards with their bombs one of which wounded one of our cousins who is a Capt in the US Army he was on patrol with his men and a controlled det IED detonated 30ft from him and threw him 15ft tho lucky for him mainly some broken bones and shrapnel. But he lost 3 of his troopers. And its happening as we speak and we have about 6 family members still in country in combat units. So we worry. I did my residency in the USAF and left as a Major as my hubby who finished his as a Capt lol I win jk Hon ;) and also minored in Military history also a war buff to this day I collect stuff my prized item in my collection is a unissued authenticated Knights Cross with Oakleaves and swords, I have the box and everything those in the know how $$$$ they can be and very rare and you have to be very wary of fakes which are all over the place.

I know weird for a girl but I love tanks as my grandad was a Haputsturmfuhrer (captain) Panzer Commander of a Panther tank in the Waffen SS but was not in the Nazi party and a decent fellow also highly decorated, yes its true NOT all Wehrmacht or Waffen SS were Nazi party members most were drafted in no choice. Tho sadly I did have or do have some Waffen SS relatives who were very brutal 3 great uncles all in Panzer grenadier Divisions and very Nazi and very anti Semitic and even today in their 90's are still stuck in their old ways same as my hubby's side who had some Japanese fanatical officers in his family and both of our family's have a small portion split apart due to their ideals. So the war still affects us to this day.

Sorry again for the rant. But again I never knew people I should say you non Korean people knew about my sister (we don't use in law as family is family) but I think its great. Watch her earlier films as even she said its her best work. Lastly again she has NO fan or official clubs etc. If she does not know you personally or in the biz she can only be contacted thru her manager. She does not use the web much she is a outdoors type of gal plus she is 6yrs older than me but we get along great I will let her know there are some fans here. But sorry that's all as she won't answer any questions I may pass along and besides neither will I ever do that anyway. Hope you all understand we value privacy.

Well that's it again sorry for the long intro but I use voice typing and I ramble at times and atm not feeling well so its mainly the times I use to surf the web, times when I either sick like now or waiting for a flight etc. As I'm no online gal myself. And will probably not come back to this post as Im very busy and even ill? I forget I post stuff LOL. I love to shop tho hey which girl doesn't
