Both of her parents suck! (reasons)

Her mom sucks because:

1. She is nuts.

2. She goes to the media with trash talk about Kendra. Be a mother, seriously.

3. She was a-okay with Kendra's lifestyle as Hef's girlfriend and even said on TGND that if Hef said that he would trade Kendra for her that she would do it.

Her dad sucks because:

1. He was NOT around for his kids, bottom line. The excuse he gave was p!s$ poor! He could have been there for his kids, even if it was just for the summer. Or at least call them! It's not like he couldnt afford a lawyer to get joint or sole custody or at the very least pay his ex wife enough to not fight in front of the kids (what he claimed that he was trying to *save* them from).

2. I believe that his lack of presence in Kendra's life was the reason that she had such issues in that she would even consider being Hef's girlfriend in the first place. She was obviously looking for a man to look after her, or for money, or, at the very least, a good time. If her dad were in her life, she would have had all three. Hank truly did save her.

Having a dead beat father can cause a lot of issues in someones life.

I'm wondering how the mother is going to react to Kendra reconnecting with her father. This could go very badly.

I think kendras mum is so against kendra and hanks marriage because now she doesn't get invited to all the parties and holidays and fun things. Now kendra has her own family and does stuff with hank.
I think she was using kendra to live it up.

That's for sure, on GND she never missed a party and dressed as slutty as she possibly could wearing 10 lbs of makeup thinking she was hot. I remember how she was always hinting to Hef about moving in and becoming the 4th girlfriend lol.

I can't believe kendra forgave him so fast. I feel like she never really let out the pain and hurt he has caused her. Instead she tried to minimize what he did even trying to make him feel less bad by saying his choice in abandoning her made her more stronger. It didn't make kendra strong at all. Judging by her shows she comes off as a guarded insecure and broken individual and she always said how much her father hurt her when he left and how it shattered her mother and brother. I think kendra desperatly wanted to feel love and have a father in her life, especially at a time when her marriage was falling apart, that she over looked what he did. The man did not say I am sorry. He he had a surfing accident and could have died but still did not reach out to his children. He was a millionaire and never gave his wife any child support so that his kids didn't have to live in poverty. He could have gotten joint custody and could have taken the burden off Kendra's mother by taking part in raising his children but he didn't. He's a low life, cowardly dead beat dad.

She has not had an easy life. I really like her and wish her well.
