She's cold to her kids

She seems warmer with Hank Jr. than with the little girl, but that's not saying much. She obviously doesn't mind leaving them for weeks at a time like for her visit to Costa Rica or to England doing lame reality shows like she is right now. I feel really bad for her kids, little Hank seemed so sad in every episode this season whereas before he used to look happy. Kendra would have been better off never having kids.

She mentioned she had post-partum depression after giving birth in one of the episodes. She's dealing with hormones, a cheating husband, a 4 year old, having no support system, and still trying to provide for her family. I think it's a lot for her to handle emotionally

The fact she can leave her kids for weeks or months at a time, gives you a. Clue as to what she thinks of being a mother....
She did marriage boot camp and I'm a celebrity get me out of here, plus in a recent episode she went to the UK. . No amount of money in the world could make me spend that much time away from my child!!!!
Was really glad when she was on a talk show in the UK and one of the hosts drilled her for that

I thought about her mother, too. I saw episodes of The Girls Next Door with her mother and grandmother in them. There is something definitely misfiring about her mom. She seemed self-absorbed, shallow and living vicariously through Kendra. (Hef paid for mom to have plastic surgery, as I recall). Mother was vocal about feeling ripped-off in life and the fact that she married young. There was no warmth. So, predictably she was angry when Kendra announced her pregnancy and marriage. Mother was reliving her own past decisions. Unless Kendra is supervigilant and aware, she is doomed to repeat these resentments. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. It's incanny because now Kendra seems to be regretting her own marriage and motherhood and wanting the "fun" (meaning male attention) back in her life.
