How did this movie even get a 3?
I mean, everything about it was awful. The only thing that made me almost give it a 2 was that the creature KIND of creeped me out in some of the scenes... the weird noise, weird movements, and it just looked weird... other than that, everything was beyond awful. I wanted to punch the deputies sister in every scene. not because she couldn't act, which was quite annoying, but every word out of her mouth was over-the-top stupid and more immature than her character could possibly be. Really, you hear gunshots in the woods and won't yet your boyfriend call his dad because "those shots COULD be miles away". and that deputy freezing? how was he even a deputy? he must have frozen on every test. and that grandma who spoke english sometimes with her weird stares? and jimmy from the practice with his horrible accent? how did he forget how to act since then??? and no one ever even attempting to run from the creature? please.
but seriously. NO ONE could act in this movie. I think they must have only had the budget to film one take of each scene. and how did they have a budget anyway? I really want to know who would finance this nonsense. I could make a better movie on my cell phone!
It weakens us to not give our enemies the respect they deserve...
