Who knew? Elvis really did have a twin!

I had never heard about this. Elvis' twin brother was stillborn. His name was Jessie Garon.

This is going to be one interesting film. From the trailer it sure looks like there are some major liberties taken, but I don't really care. It's a cool concept for a movie.

Elvis sang rock, but sometimes gospel songs.

They even hired the same actor Waylon Payne who played Jerry Lee Lewis from Walk The Line!

Maybe they wanted to make an Elvis bio pic without paying The Elvis Presley Estate and wanted to preach?

Is this movie connected to the Elvis Presley Estate? I doubt anyone could afford the rights to an Elvis bio pic.

Looks like fun!

Elvis and his brother, and their mother, are buried in the garden at Graceland. Went there when I was 12. Ginnifer Goodwin's (from Once Upon a Time, and many other movies) grandparents were originally going to buy Graceland (it was named that way before Elvis purchased the property) but decided that they property wasn't right. Elvis bought it years later, and made it his own. Just like Michael Jackson did with Neverland Ranch.

Elvis is buried with his mother, father and grandmother at Graceland. His brother is buried in an unmarked grave near Tupulo, Mississippi.

And they figure there is no way to determine if the twin was identical since it would require costly tests to determine it which the parents didn't have the money for at that time. The twin was born first and Elvis second. Elvis died thinking he was firstborn and an identical twin.
