Yeah, really. Way to be a dick, OP. Relationships are about connection. Or at least ideally they should be. I guess the OP's never heard of an "unlikely relationship" or "unlikely romance", but they do happen in life, not just in the movies. Not everyone's a superficial, Social Darwinist a_sshole but I guess people have trouble seeing past their own worldview. Or maybe people just got their heart broken and its made them really bitter and cynical so they get a kick out of trying to discourage or disparage others. Who knows. Says more about them than the "oddballs" they're disparaging IMO.
And I know I'm an "oddball", yet I've had relationships with attractive women. Not as hot as the one in this movie, but there's nothing wrong with hope :-) Beats being a dick, at least. And no, before you start, I haven't had better luck with women when I act like a dick...maybe I'm one of the few, but I do better (still not great, but better lol) when I act like myself.
Though based on the OP's 2 posts I've seen on this movie's board, he seems like a troll (checked out some of his others too, just to try and know for sure). Thinking its a spoiler for this movie that another thread title mentioned aliens? When this movie's description mentions aliens as well? Really? Give me a break. Or that's just his gimmick - trying to get a rise out of people. Some people just enjoy being difficult bastards. And I really hope no one thinks I'm being unnecessarily mean to him, since if you did look at his other posts, he tears into people all the time (and no one really stands up to him), so if he can dish it out, I'd hope he can take it. I doubt he cares what I think anyway. He can respond if he wants, I'm sure he'll try to sound tough, but I won't be here to read it. Make my point and move on - other things to do with my life.
That said, he did say one thing right - that girl was really hot :-) Great curves. Made sure to pay extra attention the 2nd time I watched when I rented this On Demand - hey, I had to get my money's worth, eh? ;-)
Finally (please forgive all the rambling!), just wanted to say I liked this movie (not just because of her). One of the better horrors I've seen this year. Creepy visuals and sound effects. The Thing (80s) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (70s) are 2 of my all time scariest movies, love sci-fi horror, so any movie that reminds me of both will probably be a winner in my book.
