Why is this movie so underrated on IMDB?

6.9 only? It has a rating of 8.4 on MAL. I guess people on IMDB are just incompetent. I come from MAL, so I think I am one of the few sane persons here.

Whaddya think?

Maybe a lot of the Western world haven't seen it.

It could be because it's just a recap of what the show is about. The show has a much higher rating than this. The people who use IMDb go on it for movies and television shows, not anime seeing as there are websites that are designed only for anime.
