Here is the first trailer for "The Turning" which will have it's premiere in Australia. I love the original book of short stories by Tim Winton - I have high hopes for this film.

Looks great. I loved the book so I'm interested to see how it translates to film. Can't go wrong with Tim Winton though so let's hope an Aussie audience gets behind the film.
share From what I've seen, it's been well-received by both critics and audiences, particularly during its festival screenings..
regardless, I'm really anticipating this. Apparently very few are aware of this outside Australia.. Hopefully it can sustain some amount of buzz and debuts in the states in some form soon..
