Who casted Christian Grey he was horrible

I'm telling you if they would've casted a different guy the movie would've been way better. Like I wouldn't of casted Alex Pettyfer but even he would've been better Playing Christian lol i jes say him cuz they look alike. I feel like he could cuz of the role he played in Justin Timberlake movie "in time" lol not a very convincing argument but the fact still remains the guy was horrible. I'll say as far as acting formal and professional he did a good job of that.

I don't know who casted Jamie....or if anyone casted anyone....but Jamie was picked by the author and the director and the producer...

I somewhat disagree (with all due respect). I think people are giving him too hard of a time. He wasn't a GREAT actor but he wasn't awful. I've already said this but I think he's one of those actors that will grow more into his character and become better for the sequels. He already looks better in the new movie's trailer. Besides, it could also very well be the director to blame for how bad his acting was. It's not ALWAYS the actor's fault.

Jamie is a good actor. EL James is not a good writer.

He has won acting awards for The Fall...which happens to be an excellent BBC series..I think both Jamie and Dakota do just fine with what they have to work with..

Agreed. I really thought Dakota was great in this movie. She played her part very well.
