Oh Rachelle...

The dancing was good (the tricks were impressive), but WHAT was that song?? The looks on the dancers' faces said it all, really.

And they all criticized Gianna for mouthing words. I think Rachelle is supposedly singing that song, but ugh.

It was definitely her singing (and I use that term loosely...there's a reason she's been mostly an ensemble dancer on Broadway), but she was lip synching because there's no way she could pull it off live.

The only judge I wanted to see dance was Abby. :P

but Richy's dance was pretty cool. Rachelle was trying to show off as much as her talent as possible. This included singing. And she is talented. But that performance was both awkward and too much.

I'm sure some of the other AUDC contestants can sing. But i don't think it would be a good idea to make them song and dance.

Yeah, it was kinda weird how the judges (mainly Abby) were harping about lip synching all season by the contestants (mainly McKaylee) and then both of the judges who danced at the finale featured lip synching in their performance (especially Rachelle, Richy didn't really lip synch himself, but one of his dancers was to start his performance).

I think there's a difference though. Rachelle's performance was dancing and singing, not dancing only. Or, at least I thought that's what the host said.

Whether she sang live or lip synched, I don't know but, singing was part of the performance therefore her lips should be moving.

McKaylee was supposed to be dancing only and there was no need for her lips to be moving. I think that's the distinction they were making.

I didn't see much of Richy's performance.
