Crappy Ending

The whole thing was appalling tosh, and that was the final straw. Everyone involved with the production of this should go back to their day jobs.

It was poor. I wonder how it compares to the book? The main problem for me was that I sympathised with the father far more than with his spoiled, hedonistic children.
