For A UK Series It Sure Is Very Irish (Celtic) Driven

Forgive me Im new to this series. But from the celtic music (intro), the clothes, and the town structure, it has a very Irish feel to the series for being a UK series. If it wasn't for all the British accents I would think this series takes place in Ireland. Anyone else notice that, and know why that is...?

Either way I'm loving the celtic feel.

I never heard where this series take place to be honest. I came into it late. will say it does feel "irish" and I like it even if it not. That intro seems celtic to me as well. 😆

Hard to say cause I think it's supposed to take place either in the East side near Wales, or in the north near Scotland.

It's set in Northumberland, the northernmost English county. Season 4 is filmed in Newcastle, the biggest city in the northeast, and Gateshead.

Being celtic does not even mean it has to be irish. It could be scottish, welsh or even cornish influenced.
