No one else thinks Shannon is psychotic?

She's awful and sneaky. She accuses Maddy of being a wolf (doesn't matter that it's true), she films them without their permission, acts like it's she's doing them a favor, and Maddy has to apologize? She's the true monster.

Yes! 110% agree with you. While I watched the first and second series, I was wondering if I was supposed to dislike Shannon, because she was a terrible friend to Maddy. She betrayed Maddy and her entire family. Even in the series 1 finale, Shannon acts like her feelings are the only ones that matter when she got mad about Maddy keeping a secret..like who cares? Maddy and her family have a life or death secret that they constantly are concerned about, but all she cares about was not being informed. Same in the Dark Moon episode. Just annoyed me.

Eclipse episode too. Maddy is rightfully concerned that Jana gave Shannon something that they have no clue how it will affect her, and Shannon gets mad at Maddy..for what? Being concerned?

Shannon was smug, self centered and always thought she was smarter than she actually was. She had NO right to film Maddy's family during something so private, but she acted like Maddy was in the wrong for being mad. I didn't like that Maddy had to apologize when it was Shannon's fault. I would have ended that friendship until Shannon apologized and deleted everything.

She is definitely the villain in this show. She goes on and on about her right to the truth and how to expose Maddy. A true friend would understand why wolfbloods wish to remain hidden just as Shannon was told by their other friend (name not coming to mind). Humans would lock them away for science or military. If Shannon knew, she couldn't keep a secret like that because her wanting to be in the limelight with her reputation would cause her to blab. She's dangerous.

i think shes autistic.....we are pretty tenacious about things were into, as someone with Aspergers Syndrome reconciling it in another. being an ASpie doesnt make you a monster...just disabled.

People with Aspergers usually wear the same thing every day (which Shannon doesn't). And they usually get really angry and frustrated which Shannon has done, but people with Aspergers get way worse... And everyone gets mad once in a while.

Lol, people with Asperger's don't always wear the same thing everyday. However, I don't think she has Asperger's...maybe a type of ocd since she's so obsessed with the whole werewolf thing.

Agreed! She's horrid!

I just began watching this show on Netflix! Although I'm not a young person I sometimes find the "Family" rated shows cute and interesting.....I do love stories involving werewolf's and Vampires intriguing!
So....on to the topic at hand the character Shannon Kelly totally irks me she is so irritating, mean spirited, self centered and just plain unlikable! Not the kind of best friend Maddy deserves let alone that someone would want to have!! I figured every show usually has a villain of some sort and apparently Shannon is "it" along with the other various "Bully" kids like Jimi and The K's! This young actress does an amazing job playing this part I might add otherwise her character wouldn't elicit such strong feelings of distaste & dislike for Shannon Kelly right?
As for Wolfblood although I'm still in the first season I really like it and am enjoying it a lot!!

Shannon was my least favorite character.
How she considers herself so self-righteous.

With a friend like her, who needs enemies. Sheesh.

Yup, pretty much my thoughts exactly. She was so frustrating at times.

I agree, I haven't liked Shannon from season 1 episode 1. She is to fixated with wolfbloods, She should have remembered that Maddie was Her friend first, and She only kept the secret from her to protect all of them. Shannon kept pushing and antagonizing Maddy, and when She learned the truth She was going to expose them all until someone talked sense into Her. Then in season 2 She spied on them without their permission and nearly exposed them when that guy took Her laptop, I get that She did it for research and She wanted to know more but She had no right to invade their privacy and treat them like lab experiments. Even if people saw that they were "normal" and not beasts, it wouldn't make a difference, they would still be in danger and people would ultimately want to know more. Then, She acted like a jerk when Maddy tried to cheer Her up! Shannon is a very sneaky, pathetic, conniving, and nosy girl. Maddy and the others were always better friends to Her than She was to them.
