Would you still watch without Bobby?
I'm so glad they're doing season 4, but, I've heard rumors that Bobby Lockwood won't be returning. Would you still watch it?

shareYes
shareYes. It would suck that he'd be gone and I'd miss him, but I'd still watch.
<3 So, I could take the back road, but your eyes will lead me straight back

It just seems like he's the main character. - and having lost Maddy already. - I'm not sure it would be the same without him and with just Jana and the others
shareBobby Lockwood, Louisa, and Kedar have all left the show now along with Aimee Kelly.
shareYeah, I had a feeling about that so I asked this question. I didn't expect to lose Tom and Shannon aswell though. And it seemed Rhydian was the main character so that's a big loss. We've now lost all the original group so will people keep watching, do you think?
shareIt depends..I guess if the writing is still on the same level as Season 1 & 2, then yeah I think people will still watch. Probably out of curiosity. Leona/Jana could potentially be interesting as the main character, and since this is technically a kid's show, they're going to have to put in a love interest for her ASAP since teens/tweens eat that stuff up.
I figured Bobby was gone when the last five minutes of 3x13 had Rhydian head to Canada to be with Maddy. I didn't expect Louisa to go too, I thought Shannon would stick around.
Yes I had a feeling we'd lose Bobby. But I didn't expect Tom and Shannon aswell. I'm not sure if Jana would be able to carry the show herself and we'll have to wait on the new cast, but, it is disappointing that we've lost all the original's so we have no real connection so hoping the new cast will be okay
I agree, they'll have to introduce a new love interest for Jana
In terms of the show's continuing narrative, these new developments actually make sense. The third season ended with all of Wolfblood's young characters leaving school, and with Stoneybridge being such a small town then logically they'd all have to leave the area to either go onto further education (university or college) or find jobs.
As Jana is my second favourite character (after Shannon) I'll still be watching. And while it's a shame that Louisa has left, I fully understand why - she's a very talented actress, has worked on the show for three years, and simply wants to pursue other roles and projects. Good luck to her.

Did you catch the episode of "Call the Midwife" that Louisa did? I thought she was really good and completely believable in the role.
I'll admit that Shannon was my least favorite character from Wolfblood, but I think Louisa has quite a bit of potential as an actress and I do ultimately understand why she'd want to leave WB and try her hand at other acting opportunities.
are you serious I hope its just a rumor

It's not a rumor. He left the show along with Louisa, Kedar, and Aimee left at the end of Season 2. All four are gone from the show.

No, I meant at the end of Season 2. Yeah, technically the CGI wolf that was supposed to represent Maddy showed up for 30 seconds at the end of Season 3, but her last scene as her human character was in 2x13 IMO.
The only remaining main cast member is Leona Kate Vaughan and they have a bunch of new actors for Season 4. It's going to air sometime in 2016.

Well, there's an online motion comic so that people can see what Rhydian and Maddy are up to in Canada, and Tom, Shannon, Jana, and Maddy's parents along with a few other characters appear too.
Basically, Maddy and Rhydian are happy together in Canada with her parents, Tom/Shannon go visit them and eventually head back home to start college (which is why they're not in Season 4)
Jana gets a job at Segolia and moves in with Segolia's new head of security.
Season 4 is 12 episodes.

..I didn't say it was the same. I'm simply telling you about the extra content they've created to connect the end of Season 3 with the beginning of Season 4.
Stoneybridge seems like its supposed to be a very very small town. Shannon was always the "smart" character, so it makes sense she'd want to go off to a big university that is likely far away.
Ultimately, the actors are getting older, are 22-23 years old, and don't seem to want to play 17 year olds anymore. They want to try new things, and go for different roles.
IDK if they're ending the show, I guess it depends on the ratings for Season 4.

..Okay, it seems like you just want to argue for the sake of it, and I'm not particularly interested in that currently. Have a nice day!
The show is on CBBC and it's aimed at 8-12 year old audience. It will never focus on college or university years because young children have no interest in watching that.
If you feel they are dragging it out unnecessarily, just don't watch it.

Really? What about Cover Up, A Different World, Wiseguy, The X Files, ER, Profiler, Scrubs, Law & Order, CSI, Stargate SG1, Capital City, Eight Simple Rules, Two and a Half Men, to name just a few? As long as enough people are still watching, American networks will happily run a series into the ground.
I'll give it a shot probably. I have watched the past seasons on Netflix a couple of times but I have to admit that one of the biggest reasons I started the show was because of Bobby Lockwood. After seeing some promos of him for the show, I was instantly drawn in. Rhydian has been my favorite character from the start. I loved watching his growth.
I have not enjoyed the addition of Jana but thought she was much more bearable in season 3 than in season 2. I don't believe she worked very well with the existing pack (moreso I did not like her and Maddie's interactions. It was more alpha female in one spot than I thought actually worked). So perhaps having a predominately new cast will be good.

I'll watch the first episode to see if I still like it. But if Both of the original main characters are gone it won't be the same.
