Parody? No....


Calling this a "parody" is just "it turned out as crap so let's say we intended it that way".

Gave it a three. That's what it deserved. And this is all the time I'm going to waste on this one.

I agree it's really not a parody. It might be suggestive of Saturday morning cartoons, mainly Scooby Doo but that's about the only thing. It's a reasonably bad movie but nothing about that was intentional.

Yeah I just dont understand what their intention was using the Scooby Doo platform in this. Was it an homage? Was it to mock it? Or was it just to get the attention of generation Xers/Yers who grew up with Scooby Doo (and millennials who think its "retro cool") and might like the concept of a Scooby Doo real life based horror? Because to me it seems like they chose that vehicle but immediately just let it follow its own (aimless) direction into silliness and weirdness with a disconnected rambling story line. Its not even the Scooby Doo universe. Just a shadow of the Scooby Doo character set.
