Sparkie's voice (English version)

The one thing that annoys me about the English version of this show is how Sparkie speaks with a Jamaican accent and he talks with an English voice in the US/Canadian version. Colin McFarlane's voice would be perfect for the part if he just spoke in a more boomy, regal voice that would suit a cartoon dragon, but they instead thought it would be a great idea to have him talk like a Rastamouse character! It's just one of those things that they didn't have to change Do the BBC feel that because CMF is black that he has to sound black too?!

Martin Roach who does him in the US version is black too, but he doesn't talk like that! It seems a bit like racial sterotyping on the BBC's part to me!
