Light, sweet, feel-good comedy with some of my favourite things

Simple plot comedy, beautiful rural Ireland scenery, gorgeous Taylor Kitsch  - what's not to like here ?!

I watched this movie on a dark, rainy afternoon while I was ill and confined to bed. It lifted up my mood and really cheered me up! It's like a cheesy rom-com but instead of the leading man there's a whole Irish village, and instead of the leading lady, there's this young American new doctor, and it somehow works! 

I am yet to watch the original French film!
