Cliched Crap

From the trailer

"She was a quiet girl....no one knew her....but she always had head in a book. "

And you're judging by the one line in the trailer?

Be the type of person you want to meet

reply

Yeah, I agree. The trailer alone makes me cringe. She's rich. He's poor. Her dad is strict. Their love is forbidden, blah blah blah.

ahahahahahaha

Learn how to spell, you dim-witted moron.

Be the type of person you want to meet

reply

Aside from your illiteracy, the director is a woman, doesn't have a cock.

From the trailer alone you get the following cliches.

1) Romeo and Juliet forbidden love.
2) Rich shy, naive girl who was sheltered all of her life.
3) Bad boy with a criminal side ho shows her a freer and wilder side.
4) Cheesy "romantic scenes".
5) True love conquers all.
6) I've never loved before and I barely know you, but I know you're the one and only.

It sucks because the book itself sounds pretty interesting and would make for an original change.

it's made for stupid inbreds.

Yep, I was made to sit through this cliche ridden rubbish as well.
Got every love story plot device that's been done to death a hundred times before, the movie just rolls them out one after another like clockwork.
Alex Pettyfer only just passes muster as an actor at the best of times, but that lead actress what's-her-face is really bad. REALLY bad!! She sure didn't get the role on her acting ability.

My grandma went and walked out halfway through. She got an exchange ticket and said the manager laughed at how many of those he was giving away for the film.

reply

Your "grandma". Uh-huh. Right.

Respect what you have 🌌
