*SPOILERS* The fate of Tommy...

Did anyone else think the fate of "Tommy" was particularly unpleasant and harsh?

Sure, he was a moron and his behaviour was reprehensible, but he certainly didn't deserve to meet that kind of ending. More than three minutes are wasted with the bad guy toying and torturing him before before burning him alive. I expected our "hero" to come in and save him but no.

How are we supposed to root for a hero who basically delivers another man to the villain and lets him die horribly? Not only did he fail to save him, but he didn't save his father either.

Welcome to the real world.

Not to mention that Nick never even asks what become of Tommy. I also was wondering how in the world his wife ended up getting captured. When last seen she is safe at home. There are cops watching the house. The killer never leaves where he is. How the heck did he get there, take her captive and get back to his "control center?"

He leaves his control center during Round 8 and before Round 9. While Nick and Tommy are trying to save the governor he could have killed the cops outside Nick's house and got to his wife.

It honestly felt like during the time Nick was out and the whole tommy killing scenes were done so Orton can go and attend RAW then come back and finish the rest of the movie.
