Leigh Scott:

The easiest way to blow a chance at anything positive about a movie. He never has and never will make anything worth watching. Such a waste of horror talent in the cast with him at the helm.

Yeah, well...

Wow! You really showed me there! Those are some reputable sites there! Man, I can't believe you showed me some unheard of blogs as proof of your talent! Damn it, I am vanquished!

reply

Well, at least these "unheard of blogs" were written by people who've actually SEEN the film.

It's available now at Walmart and Family video. Take the Leigh Scott challenge. Watch it and come back and tell me how great it is.

How about you take the SAG challenge and ship the case of DVDs to the cast member you owe them to? I'm sure he'd love to see it.

Leigh Scott's segment "The Slaughter House" was easily the strongest and most inspired story in this film; it offers an ingenious spin on the usual horror genre conventions concerning the standard premise of a group of friends encountering an oddball backwoods family after their van breaks down in the middle of nowhere.

Folks hating before they even watch a film?

For shame, internet.

Penny Dreadful is maybe Leigh's best work, that I've seen...and I don't normally say things like this.

Inspired, definitely, by House of 1000 Corpses. It's almost a direct ripoff, down to even some of the actors(Haig).

I realize House is inspired by Texas Chainsaw, but this is REALLY "inspired" by House, or as some would say, copied.
