Blatant Ripoff of STARBUCK (2011)...!!

Does the scripwriter think we are dumbasses, atleast don't claim it as your original idea. This movie is overrated and NOT original at all.
Straight ripoff from Starbuck (2011)

The problem with our Indian scriptwriters is their blatant defiance of the fact that they stole the idea, same was the attitude of writer-director of Ghajini who ripped Memento to make dim-witted garbage and so did the writer-director of Teen Patti who stole 21.
Atleast humbly accept you stole the idea when caught, one doesn't attend writer's roundtables on national television to extol the virtues of original writing and changing face of Indian Cinema when they themselves are claiming their ripoff as original.

Enough said, those with brains will understand that all the fuss surrounding this movie is unnecessary.

You can't handle the truth...!!!

Haven't seen this one, but after reading the storyline, nothing arises suspicion this would b a rip-off. Nothing. Yes, there IS a (potential) sperm donor in this movie too, but initially he hasn't donated as much as a drop of semen!

Again reading the Storyline; The story seems to be about a doctor (there were no doctor in "Starbuck", and the story was about the dude named Starbuck...) chasing the perfect donor, who eventually agrees. Later on, this handsome donor meets a woman (who is NOT pregnant, as oppose to in "Starbuck"), who later finds out about him having donated semen. Nothing about any kids.

There must be A LOT of films about donating sperm, sperm donators, such clinics, and so on. They are not automatically rip-offs of Starbuck.

Halleliejah!

indian director modifying the story as per the requirement of desi audience doesnot make it original.from indian aspect the story is new but from all movie market the story is not new but rip up of starbuck.modifying scenes doesnot make the movie original.if this would have been the case then other copied hindi movies can also be regarded as original.

Except that both movies have a different plotline and message. They may have a similar concept...come on you don't think with thousands of writers out there, 2 ideas can be the same?

Gee, I have to agree. I only saw the trailer (although the movie looks good). Having a movie about a sperm donor was the only thing in common. I don't get the rip off. I could see if there were similar lines, concepts beyond a man donating sperm, etc. But there doesn't appear to be any of that.
