It is definitely going to be a trilogy. It is based on a trilogy of books from Beverly Lewis. While I have enjoyed the movies, the books (as always) are MUCH better! :) Things make much more sense.

shareThey messed up the pronunciation of Lancaster; Katie said it as "Lan-caster" when it's pronounced with a Pennsylvania Dutch accent out here "Lank-a-ster".
Minor detail, but still if you're doing a movie about the PA Amish you should study up on some of these things.
I DVR'd it, coz I'd already watched the Shunningon Netflix (which I actually really enjoyed), and I'm 7 minutes in, and the new actress' accent is absolutely HORRIBLE. Danielle Panabaker's (sp*?) accent was SO much better. I know someone said it sounded Irish...I can hear that, but I also hear a LOT of Eastern European, too. Terrible...just terrible! I hate to get on a board and dog on someone, but I just had to say something about her TERRIBLE accent!
shareShe is hard of hearing /deaf in real life. So she has a accent from that not from being from a different country. I loved her in this movie I hope we can see the next one soon.
