I heard this was filmed in English so why would there be subtitles?

Also will it be realeased in the US?

This is a French film but in some countries it was dubbed into English e.g. India and Singapore. I hope you are not confusing this with the Disney version with Emma Watson?

A few weeks ago there was a huge list of forthcoming release date for this film on IMDB which included release dates for the USA and also UK. However, this has now disappeared. I do not know if they are planning to release this film. If not, you can get the DVD from Amazon Canada with English subtitles.

I found it on youtube with english subs. Really enjoyed it!

Would you happen to have or know where I could find the link for the version with English subtitles? The only one I could find with subtitles, they were Chinese (I think?), and I can read that about as well as I understand French [my second language is Sign for a reason.] I did watch a good portion of the movie, though it is missing something when you don't understand a word being said -- still a beautiful film though.

Found it! There is one that offers subtitles in 4 languages, and once you click it, there is another thing that comes up and says, "If you want the English subtitles, click here", and that takes you to one where the audio is French and the subtitles are English.
