'Enemy' worst movie I have seen in years

It wasn't a great night for Amazon Prime on numerous counts. Majorly, Amazon kept freezing up when we watched ENEMY. So I stopped watching it on Monday and picked it up again on Tuesday after getting customer service to help. The 2-night discontinuity made a marginally interesting movie -- or so we thought initially - totally insulting to intelligence, particularly in the way that it ends. Total time waster. Jake Gyllenhaal was almost a brand for me until I watched this awful waste of 2 hours. Avant garde my ass. Senseless, poorly written, poorly acted, and it just dragged on, making it probably the worst movie I have seen in years next to Paris, Texas.

I hate it with a passion too. And I really like a lot of both the actor and director's work. This hollow sludge was just way too anorexic for me.

Awww damn, I really liked this movie. I thought it was a really good way to bring up a subject about marriage and infidelity. Let's face the facts, I'm sure every man and probably women has thought about being a different person and leading a different life at one time or another in so and of either a long relationship or times or stress (like having a baby and dealing with the responsibility of a life changing event. That sucks you didn't like it, I can totally see how this film isn't for everyone tho.

some movies are a love or hate movie.

Aw, the conundrum: In order for one's intelligence to be insulted, one must first HAVE intelligence.

I didn't hate it but I am very mixed on it

I really wanted to like this film but I found it pretty boring unfortunately. I gave it a chance years ago and might try it again someday but just felt so disappointed with it, especially since the cast and director were so promising
