I feel so 50/50 on this film

The music is great and unsettling, the unpredictability with space with the Neutrino burst and some crew dying, the Shaw signal, the discovery of Planet 4 and everything up till David was intriguing.

There was a lot to explore about planet 4 and the engineers culture and their city but it’s was all focus on David and his crazy antics. I’m unsure what exactly was David reason to do what he did. In a way David is more like Call from Resurrection with the human emotions. He has a hatred for humanity but how?

He was an interesting character in Prometheus but he over stayed his welcome in Covenant.
