Security clearance in the end? (spoilers)

In the end of the movie, we see David walking into the room with the embryos, putting in some of his own.

However, why did he have clearance to enter the room? He simply said his name and a number, and the door opened. Does his security clearance from Prometheus (or Weyland corp. in general) carry over?
