shareI've read that Veronica Cartwright's character Lambert from the original Alien was meant to be a transsexual woman, if true it could be that sexual orientation is a lot more lax in the future than it currently is just now.
Makes sense when you think of all the sexual undertones alluded to throughout Alien and Giger's art.

shareAh, I only saw that film once, and don't remember specific dialog. All I recall of the medpod is that after it cut through Shaw's skin and muscle, it stitched her back up so well she could spend the rest of the film running around. Amazing technology!
