SPOILER, no chin mark

How come David didn't have at least a mark under his chin where the nail went through, also, when did he have the time to cut his hair to match his doppelganger?

Because the script said so, is apparently the only reason youll get for a lot of things in this movie and prometheus.

I was also wondering about the chin mark. The new version (Walter) had the possibility to heal but not the old version (David). But when they cut away during the fight I immediately knew David was going to replace Walter. So obvious.
But maybe he replace a chip or something (we just did not see it) and the body is actually Walters while the chip in his head is David's. Shouldn't have been a problem for David to do that.
If you're wondering about the haircut though: you must have missed the scene where David started cutting his hair shortly after they met and it was basically foreshadowing the replacement that I mentioned before. Also: they were there for several hours (if not longer) so he must have had enough time to do that.
