Alien: Covenant To Begin Reshoots at Leavesden Studios!!!

Alien: Covenant to begin reshoots at Leavesden Studios. According to Instagram posts by makeup artist Tina Earnshaw (who also worked with Sir Ridley Scott on Prometheus and The Martian), Alien: Covenant is due to begin (or has already begun) reshoots at Leavesden Studios, the Warner Brothers owned location that also houses many of the Harry Potter sets:

“Ridley Scott reshoot for Alien covenant my makeup station all ready for the chaos!!!!

This is common practice and likely nothing to worry about. These reshoots are likely to clear up any issues that have cropped up during editing and testing. Thanks to Alien vs. Predator Galaxy community member The Eighth Passenger for the news.

Yep.

And if they don't like it they'll use the reshoots as an excuse.

Actually, this may bode well for the film.
It means that they looked at it and determined it didn't quite work so
they're still tinkering. John Carpenter's THE FOG is one of my favorite
movies and the first cut of that movie was supposedly awful so John went
back and did new reshoots, added in the top of the lighthouse scene and some
more graphic deaths and the movie became the kick ass horror film it is! 8)

I think, especially on a horror film, when directors go back to it,
they often do so with high energy and are often just adding in a few
over-the-top elements - extensions to scenes that make them even more
kick ass, etc. 8) I hope this is the reason!

Yes true, I also especially loved Carpenter's The Fog and certainly the re-shoot's made a lot of difference to the over all final edit to that film.

Are they making the "Backbursters" into official community now? Second time Fox took our Fan Fictions seriously for the better!

You gotta stay in your seats until the Sulaco reaches the terminal!
