disappointing

Except for the plot, screenwriting, screenplay, acting, and special effects, the movie was good. Got a nice 3 out of 10 from me. Sure hoped for more.

As both a sci-fi fan and a disaster nut (THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE and THE TOWERING INFERNO occupy two of my all-time Top Ten spots), I thought the mini-series was okay. Not exceptional in any way, but watchable.

I was surprised that -- SPOILERS! -- the environmental guerrillas were depicted as being as responsible for the disaster as "the evil Capitalist desecrator" and that what was obviously the Obama government was depicted in such an unflattering light.

One of the big pluses for me was the fact that Christina Cox -- and, really, all of the relevant females -- was so, ahem, "healthy" in appearance, if you know what I mean. When Webber was giving her cardio resuscitation and electro-shock therapy, the entertainment rating of the flick went up significantly in my estimation.

I didn't add it to my collection, but I'm not sorry I watched, either. Steve V.

Just seen EOD on Syfy which has been on my sky planner.
I give this a 4 out of 10.

Why did the CEO and his little hussy get away? Sequel maybe? Now that was disappointing.

Disappointing is right. Just a bad movie all around.
