Worth a watch but overall a bit disappointing

Enjoyable but disjointed. Nice premise, 2 great leads and nicely supported by Riz Ahmed. But in the end there are too many "that would never happens".

I was hoping for more tension and more darkness. 6/10

What would the "too many that would never happens" be? I didn't get that at all.

I may have to take a look at this, if only because the Rooney girl is hot. Saw her originally in "Side Effects." She's a draw.

Even though director Benedict Andrews tries to open up the play a bit, you can still feel the stage roots of the play. The Play is entirely based in the work place. I think this is one of these stage to screen adapations that works better on the stage.

I don't agree that there are too many "That would never happen". This stuff does happen.

Rooney Mara is great in this, her British accent slips here and there but it's not a big deal. Ben Mendelsohn plays it smart by sticking to his Aussie accent. He's very good, plays it innocent at the beginning by the end turns it up real dark. There was plenty of tension in it.
