Will Ferrell

Not the biggest Will Ferrell fan, but I liked this episode. The reason I'm not crazy about him is that his humor tends to be too childish, or too contingent on physical gags, but with a limited environment he played well off Jerry.

You could tell Jerry had been sitting on the "I know the scale!" bit about scales 1-10 for some time, itching to use it.

I would have liked to see them go somewhere strange though. Ferrell and Seinfeld needed to break the mold and a surf shop and restaurant didn't do that.

Lol, true, but just because someone is aware of a criticism doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It also doesn't mean it isn't smart for Will Ferrell to keep doing it.

Kevin James made millions off movies about him falling down, running into walls etc. I doubt he found that humor funny, but he knew he could sell tickets to kids by doing it.

I find his humour hit and miss. However, check out Everything Must Go if you get the chance. Easily his best, most restrained work. It's more of a dramedy, but if you like the idea of an understated Ferrell you'll like this.
