Not bad film, from photography aspect but script is junk and those ridiculous overdubs, Run!, Dad! repeat and repeat, again . Screaming kid movies get old very fast. And the bad guy who can't shoot straight, except for the Park Ranger shot.
Fraser's career seems to have hit the skids, what happened!
It's sad to see him reduced to acting in what appears to be a made for the SciFi channel movie. The credits show he produced it. Is this all that is left for him?

I thought his career peaked in 1999 when he starred in The Mummy and then immediately plummeted after that when he did Dudley Do-Right and Monkeybone. It's amazing that he got to star in as many big-budget films as he did since I'm pretty sure all of them (aside from The Mummy) lost substantial sums of money.
