I usually enjoy indie films, but this just didn't hit a cord with me. Didn't like or relate to any of the characters, and found the story plain dull. Because of this, what was supposed to be a touching ending, didn't move me in the slightest. Avoid this bore-fest unless you are particularly into redneck dramas.
shareAgree- I felt like it was a soap opera for Rednecks- say an extension of West Virginia, small town, maybe have them meet the Swamp People series... U could hear the Banjo playing almost and No redeeming quality take from the movie. Negative, small minded, depressing, dumb-ass decision making, dreary, pitiful and made you feel agitated that these are Americans and sorry for the human race, in general overall. If this passes for entertainment- then I should video my back yard for folks to buy- of my new yard and the grass I planted, to grow in this Spring... Underwhelming.
