shareIt was just ok. I thought The Dark Knight Rises was a better adaptation of the Dark Knight storyline. The villains were cookie cutter. And Robin being a girl in that rough city? Please. And why the enormous slant against liberals. Liberals are not a caricature that are so anti-crime that they would criticize people who stop child kidnappers. This Batman was too violent against criminals. I do not like how he crippled his opponents. Who made him judge, jury, and executioner?

Another Nolan fan boy who doesnt understand that Dark Knight Rises takes most of their plot points from Frank Miller's amazing series.
I suggest you read the novel, then understand the time period. But you are probably 15 and your first exposure to Batman is George Clooney and have no appreciation for what Frank Miller did for Batman.

I didn't read the graphic novel because I am not 40 years old and wasn't born during the Eisenhower administration. Frank Miller wrote some raw generic source material that Nolan turned into genius work. I refer you to Inception for an example of a stand alone perfect Nolan film. This was not a Batman movie. It was a grandpa way out of his league in unrealistic fights with stereotypical goons obviously on steroids. I have not seen George Clooney's movies. But I have seen the late Oscar winner Heath Ledger's incredible work in The Dark Knight. You peasants should watch the Nolan Batman trilogy before you fawn at this ridiculous representation of Batman.

sharei like nolans work, but that was some of the most colossaly stupid statements iv read in a long time...most of the points in the dark knight returns were in the dark knight rises...nolan just regurgitated it in movie form thats all...a derivative of the real thing=Miller.
