When I heard that The Sopranos cast was in this movie, my immediate thought that still resonates with me to this day is: "How desperate are these people for work??!??!?!?"

The Sopranos were cast in this movie because the Sopranos literally wrote the movie (based on a book he also wrote)

yeah the guy who played Bobby wrote a book and produced this movie.
Everyone was doing him a favor basically.
Prob made very little money on it.
The cast was pretty tight so it stands to reasons they would pitch in to get the movie attention.
