Still devastated that this was cancelled...

This was the most unique talk show out there! It feels like they didn't give it a good enough chance. I've read some of the comments some of them were helpful critiques. There has to be a place for a show like this that has stars from the past with a good mix of those in the present. I know Arsenio put his heart and soul into this show, and I don't see that on the other nightime talk shows. Maybe he cared too much.

I wish he hadnt been cancelled either. Problem is unlike years ago, latenight is a pretty crowded landscape now, it does suck that they can't find room for the guy that clearly influenced alot of the current late night hosts.

when was the official announcement?

It just occurred to me that I haven't been hearing anything about it at all.

I think it was the end of May. They didn't announce it on the show, I heard it on Facebook. They just started showing a lot of reruns.

Are any of you going to watch wayne Brady as he will host the Late Late show for a week. It is on CBS

Probably not. I love Wayne Brady to death, but I remember his last talk show, and I hated it. I don't know who wrote his material, but it just wasn't good IMHO.
