imdb sucks when it comes to noneuropean films. Elar Char Adshyay missing

Ok first about hare story Hate Story is somwhat sleazy (in the sense of 'shoddy'), the only classy performance is by Ms Paoli Dam. But there is a very good 10-minute-shorter film struggling to get out of Hate Story. 10 minute editing would do it: eg Paoli must not die (happhy ending); let Paoli not take hypocritical sanctimonious crap from her friend-who-suddenly-reveals-she-loves-her towards the end.

Second, Ms Paoli Dam's arguably best and most brilliant performance is in the ('arthouse' if you want to see it that way) in the Bengali film 'Elar Char Adhyay' released *after* Hate Story. Elar Char Adhyay was also a commercial successs considering its budget. It was based on nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore' last and most complex - and most polemical in his way - novel (yes it is a novel, though even in english it is only 80+ pages). I try to add it, and what does imdb say? 'This is not in our database'.

Well, in that case imdb's database is worth squat!
