A Few Quick Questions,..

Hey all! =)

Sorry if the answers to these questions are blatantly obvious but the whole scene with the guy being interrogated started to confuse me:

1) What was the relationship between Audrey and the guy who so desperately wanted to be a Vampire? Why were there bites all over him if she never intended to "turn him"?

2) What was with the picture of the kid on the dresser next to Audrey's photo and the Chloroform and other drugs?

3) Was that a torture room in the house?

...

Come to think of it, i think i may have answered my own questions haha. Was that guy her father (photos) or possibly somebody who would go out and get the bodies and prepare them for her (torture room + Audrey saying to leave him alone)?

Would the bites on his body imply that there have been many times that she has come close to going "feral" and took a bite out of him to ease the cravings?

Thanks! =)

He's a familiar. He helps in abducting people for her, and offers his own body when they couldn't find a victim in time for her feeding (every day or every two-three days).

He isn't referring to himself when he says Audrey never intended to turn him. He's referring to Derek.

2) What was with the picture of the kid on the dresser next to Audrey's photo and the Chloroform and other drugs?

It's Audrey. She's probably keeping it to remember the days when she was human. There's a WWII photo of a woman, too. That's Audrey as well. This is to show how long she's been around.

3) Was that a torture room in the house?

It's a room where Audrey feeds off her victims. We'll soon see Derek having one of his own in the end.

I thought that was a clever, fascinating, and thoughtful touch. Very subtle. I'm impressed they thought of it.
