Why Are They Ending This Show?

I just discovered it and am binge watching the episodes. I love it! I can't believe season three is it's last season. Boo! Why can't it go on to have a normal run?

3 seasons is pretty decent. Many shows don't get more than 1.

"Many shows dont get more than one"

What shows are you watching? The only shows that only get one season, are bad shows lol. I believe the average series run, is something like 4-6 seasons.

Untrue... a lot of show only get 1 because quality doesn't always translate to ratings. Especially for shows that requires patience and time. One must also consider production cost vs. rating...

Probably because it hasn't achieved the viewership that Netflix desired. If it was pulling in more viewers than I'm guessing Netflix would probably continue it post season 3. I'm just happy they are giving it an official ending.

Most likely the low quality of the show doesn't fit with Netflix brand.

Yea, I agree. Ive seen that some people weren't happy with season 2, but thought it was great. Im a fan, just because of how different it is from other supernatural based shows. The one thing i did notice though, and am kind of confused about, is the difference in CGI from the first season. Like in the first season, Peters transformation is so intense and crazy, and they used actual wolves. But season 2, his transformation was toned down, and they switched to CGI wolves. And terrible CGI at that. I also think that if It was aired on TV, and not just netflix, it would have a larger audience, and would have gone longer than 3 seasons. If they werent giving it an actually ending, i would be hoping that another network would pick it up, but if netflix actually wraps it up with an proper ending, no network is going to try and bring it back having to deal with resuming an ended series.
