Could Spivak be something from Norse Mythology?

I only bring it up because eraly during the season he brought up the fact that he had been to Norway, which was a random fact that he throughout in the series, so could he be something from Norweigian mythology? Regardless he is different from Peter, Roman and Olivia, whose origins were derived from Romania, so maybe the world they live in consists of different entities from different regions.

Does "Spivak" sound even remotely "Norweigian" [sic] to you?

Your thesis seems to be that anyone who's been to Norway must be "something" from Norwegian mythology. Having been to Norway is not the same as having Norwegian origins.

There's no such thing as a "random" fact. Only adolescents use "random" that way. "Random" means proceeding, made, or occurring without definite aim, reason, or pattern. E.g., a number selected at random.

Learn to use proper punctuation and grammar. No run-on sentences. No adolescent jargon. And no fuzzy thinking.

Look at jnrobbins, who knew that he was working part time as an editor, actually you are not, I have the feeling that you are just a stupid fanboy who takes Hemlock Grove way to seriously. Since you are such a freaking expert then why don't you explain to me what is going on with Spivak. I realize it may cut into your Hemlock Grove JO time and may require you to leave your basement to give me an answer.

Look at you. You can't even write a coherent sentence. You don't even know when to use a comma or when to use a period.

I just started watching the show last week. I haven't even reached "Spivak" yet. But I don't have to be a "fanboy" or an "expert" to recognize the stupidity of your barely literate, adolescent comments. You must be a high school dropout.

The official definition of random was changed quite some time back to include its use in the original post. Your information is outdated. http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/random

My first thought when I saw the creature was Chernobog. Like in Fantasia.
It's a Slovac deity similar to the devil, from what I understand.
