Those who finished...

Please remember that not everyone who views message boards have finished the entire season or series, of not only Hemlock Grove, but other shows and movies. Some have questions about earlier episodes and shouldn't have to wait until they have time to watch the entire series to ask questions.
I had the finale of this show ruined for me, although I finished anyway, by someone making the subject line of post a major spoiler. Please be considerate to all.

I would say going to a message board after a show is done and people are talking about it is not a smart idea if you don't want to be spoiled.

One is able to peruse a board without spoilers. With Netflix shows, the entire season is released at once. Not everyone can watch 12 hrs of a show at once. I've seen questions on this board recently about seasons 1 & 2.
I'm referring to the subject line--NOT the actual post.

By the way, the topic of the post I saw said (SPOILER) "Peter killed Roman" and put the details as the topic. I didn't have to read the post. I was watching an episode a day. Oh well. Only consolation of the show sucking I guess.

It's most likely that the person who did that had EVERY intention of ruining the show for others. There are people in this world who are simply "like that" (i.e. colossally selfish like Olivia Godfrey), and they relish it all the more when you write in to tell them how they ruined the ending for you.

That's mainly why I stay off of the IMDB message board until *after* I'm done watching a movie/series. Personally I think that IMDB TV show message board threads should be organized by Episode (tied directly to the individual Episode plot/info sub-pages) to allow users to browse and discuss episode-specific topics instead of rolling everything into a generalized spoiler-laden free-for-all Series board.

It sucks, and IMDb gives you an option to put in a spoiler alert..its not that hard. But people are inconsiderate on social media in general..facebook is the worst, especially the morning after a show airs something big, like character death.

It's an ego boost for some people. They're like, "I know what happens and you don't! That makes me smarter than the rest of you!" It's an attitude that predates the internet.

Just don't go on message boards lol. Finish the show then come look. I haven't watched the last season of GoT because I'm waiting for Winds of Winter so I avoid anything GoT related. I mean it's easy to get mad at spoilers but they are always going to be here so just finish a show first lol
